Copycat~Compliment or Hater?

I've heard many times that imitation is the biggest compliment.

Really?

I've also heard and have been a victim to horror stories,where so called friends think they can do things better than you,even run your life or attempt to steal your ideas and pass them on as their own.

To me that's not a compliment,that's a Hater!

I realy don't like to use that word,but it is, what it is!

Hate,jealousy and envy!

 

I have a friend that has been shafted many times by many individuals that she's afraid to let anyone near her business plan fearing they will steal it and make money on her idea.

I want to help her so bad but I do not want to step on her toes,because I know exactly where she's coming from.

That's why you need the right people,caring people that are true,good,honest and want you to succeed!

She asked me to help so I found her a very,very good mentor,a upstanding successful businessman.

Also a very good friend of mine,but she was so guarded and not willing to explain exactly what she needed or wanted without giving the real info about her business.

He can't work from that.

This man runs a multi-million dollar firm,geared especially for veterans w/disabilities. He's not trying to take advantage of anyone.

She's been burned so much she's leary.

I can't blame her,but I can't help her either,if she's not willing.

 

You have to be careful in business and in life.

You would be surprised how many people look at you,and think they can live your life better than you.

Think they can raise your kids better than you,think they can run your business better than you,and even love your man better than you.

A hater/copycat does things like change their whole outlook to mimic yours.

Let's just say your business,outlook,mission has always been networking.

You love putting people together. The right people with the right info and know how to help each other for the greater good.

The longevity and prosperity of good business.

Now your hater/copycat's outlook or mission was homeless veterans,then helping women w/self esteem issues.

Now of course it's networking!

Here's my outlook on life as well as business.

I do what I do because it brings me joy,it makes me smile.

So I'll continue to do me,to make me happy and keep a smile on my face.

Get to know Him!

I was put on to HP by a business mentor,he also put me on Squidoo. Well this mentor has been beneficial in too many areas to name but as far as using the internet to market,present,build and hype up business.

We get together once a month to gauge my progress as far as presence,buzz,and traffic.

Well our meeting Monday was an eye opener espeically to me.

He showed me that this copycat has followed me here on HP,Squidoo and afew others.

I will give him an A for his presentation it was on powerpoint,showing the dates that I joined HP and the date she joined,also he pointed out that her hub resignate my topics even to the point of her copying titles to my hubs.

Funny thing is that he knows this person also,said he wouldn't expect anything less from her.

Then he pointed out how much my life has improved without her hanging around,he also stated that's why he didn't help me as much in the beginning.

He says he's happy that I don't have her in my life,she was a user that meant you no earthly good,but you have to find out somethings for your ownself.No one can tell you,you must live it.

So live and learn.

She wants what you have and it's obvious she's jealous,and thinks she can do you better than you.

After that he handed me 2 contract bid offers,I'm writing my bids now these contracts are major.

So regardless of what someone else says or does........

Be true and keep doing you!!!!
